RTAC HMI Diagram Builder Templates

The Real-Time Automation Controller (RTAC) HMI allows you to create custom dashboards to monitor and control your system. Jump-start your own acSELerator Diagram Builder SEL-5035 Software RTAC HMI projects by downloading a prebuilt HMI from the options below. Use tagged templates to generate diagrams that contain objects premapped with SEL protocol client tag names. For projects that involve manual tagging, blank/untagged templates are also available.Please note that SEL provides these templates for use as they are and does not modify them to suit unique applications.If you need help using a template or need a template you don't see here, please contact our technical support team.Jump to instructions

How to Use an RTAC HMI Diagram Builder Template in Your Diagram Builder Project

  1. To download HMI templates one at a time, locate the device you want above and click Download.
  2. To download all HMI templates at once, click ALL HMIDS.
  3. Accept the terms of use. Your device will now download the chosen ZIP file(s).
  4. Unzip the saved file to extract the HMID file or files to a network location of your choice.
  5. Create or open a project in Diagram Builder.
  6. In the project, select File > Open > Diagram. Choose the HMID file(s) you saved previously to import the diagram(s) into the project.
  7. Add or remove controls from the diagram to customize it to suit your application.
  8. Import tags unique to the application into the Diagram Builder project, and associate them with the available controls on the diagram, as applicable.
  9. Download the saved Diagram Builder project to an RTAC with the HMI option enabled, and view the RTAC HMI project via a supported browser.
NOTE: We have provided both tagged and blank templates. Tagged templates are for use with Tag Substitution. For help using Tag Substitution, please watch this video.
