    Power systems are becoming less predictable as more distributed energy resources (DERs) and nonlinear loads connect to the grid. The limited recording capabilities of traditional monitoring devices may fail to capture disturbances such as voltage oscillations, intermittent harmonics, and signal distortion.

    In this webinar, you’ll learn how to apply continuous waveform streaming and recording to enhance situational awareness. We’ll examine real-world use cases and discuss:

    • Identifying patterns and trends that indicate potential issues before failures, allowing for proactive maintenance and reduced downtime.
    • Analyzing disturbances at 3.0–14.4 kilosamples per second (ksps) on ac current and voltage waveforms.
    • Offering visualization, archiving, and analysis of continuous waveform and energy packet data through Synchrowave software.
    • Comparing continuous waveform sampled data to SCADA and synchrophasor data.
